Floral elements are ideal for watercolor designs. I enjoyed creating this semi-custom watercolor wedding suite with white anemones!
The Concept
Nicole and Jonathan loved two designs from my semi-custom invitation suites: Framed Anemone & Crown Peony. I used the anemone artwork and recreated the overall layout of the peony suite with large florals and a little greenery peeking out.
Putting a Twist on Our Semi-Custom Invitations
Semi-custom invitations are ideal if you are short on time, have a smaller budget, or just want a more simple ordering process. You can still put your unique twist on the designs with elements such as:
Font: Here I used a Snell Roundhand paired with a clean block text for readability.
Colors: The sample design included burgundy anemone flowers but the couple opted for these beautiful white anemones with blue centers.
Layout: We used the layout from the Crown Peony semi-custom suite.
Envelope Colors & Designs: For semi-custom suites, you can choose an envelope color to match your wedding colors and add a special touch like the watercolor anemone and greenery.
Paper: The hand-torn cotton paper added an organic touch to the design.
The Final Product
I love the bold, beautiful anemone flowers! My favorite parts of this design are the envelopes and the hand-torn edge on the invitations.
