All Booked Up 2024
Category: From the Cat Perch | Published on: Feb 05, 2024
CharmCat will not have availability to book new stationery work until June 2024.
Current clients are all set—your order will be completed as planned!
I will also not be accepting rush orders for stationery when bookings open up again. This means that I will not be taking orders that need a faster turnaround than my standard schedule will allow. For collection orders, production is 4-6 weeks and for custom orders production is 2-4 months.
So if you need… | for collection, your wedding date should be after: | for custom, your wedding date should be after: |

What’s not changing
Just to say again–if you’ve already booked something with me, or have contacted me about starting a project soon, you’re all good!
I will still be shipping out orders from my product line for retail and wholesale orders, so there’s never been a better time to check out the CharmCat shop!
A personal note
If you’ve been working with me or following me for a while, you’ll probably notice that this is the first time I’ve ever had a notice like this before!
While I wish it was because I’ve become wildly popular, the past two years were very difficult for me both personally and professionally. My husband had a mental health crisis and took FMLA disability leave, I was sick with Covid for a month (plus another month to start feeling like myself again, I started ADHD treatment, I let my assistants go, and my dad barely survived a heart attack.
I’ve skipped 5 of the last 6 new product releases I had planned, postponed my semi-custom collection launch, and overnighted way more packages than I like to admit.
As a small business owner, it’s hard to put yourself first. I don’t have a staff that can fill in for me while I take paid vacation. And it’s hard to see so many other businesses in my space who seem to have it all together, and remember that it’s just the image they are projecting. So I’m being more transparent because I want to show that feeling burnt out is actually pretty common with small, creative business owners.
So after ten years of working for myself, I’m taking some time to refocus and rest. And, the hope is, come back ready to dive back in doing something I love.
