When I started working on my own wedding invitations, I spent hours and days deciding on the colors and the design and the fonts, but left writing the actual wording until the very end. Why? It was the part I was looking least forward to. It seemed more like busy work, compared to the fun of designing. And I had no idea where to start.
The answer is, there isn’t really an answer. It’s your wedding and you can make your invitations say whatever you’d like. But if you’re looking for a little guidance, I put together this handy flowchart for writing your wedding invitation wording.
